The skinhead and I

Along time ago I was going for a 24hours cruise to Åland (an island in the Baltic sea). I was there with some female friends just to dance and have fun. At one point of this trip we sat down in a lobby area and there was a young man around 20 years old. He started to speak to me. He was a skinhead with the basic skinhead clothes and we talked and talked about different interesting subjects. He was very nice and when I suddenly said: - I do not know your name. What is your name? He responded: Maximus. I thought he joked. I said: Really!? He then showed me his ID card and his name was indeed Maximus. He had changed name as he liked Maximus which was taken from some Roman generals and is the Latin term for "greatest" or "largest". I was really intrigued about this young man. I must admit it was very bold to actually change his name in the first place and then to this very unusual name. I meet so many different and interesting people - they make my day!
