The invisible man

A had a friend who was married and from time to time I visited her home. We made dinner together and laughed and talked and talked lots of hours and very late in the evening. I never met her husband as he was always on a trip or out. I noticed his coat and in the bathroom his toothbrush. Time went by and I thought it was rather odd but never asked anything about it. So, eventually I learnt that she had a fake marriage so she could stay in the country. That explained the invisible man!
