My daughter´s classmate who was about 7-9 years old had an accident at school so the teacher phoned his family and his mother came to the school, to fetch him, so they could go to the hospital. That is all very normal but now what did his mother do....she came to the school with her baby daughter and she left the baby with the teacher as she claimed that she could not take the baby with her and had no where to turn to. My question is this:
- What if something happened with the baby who´s responsibility is it? A baby would disturb the teaching as it needs attention all the time. In my world it is not the schools responsibility to become a day care centre. Maybe I am heartless but one cannot just dump your baby in a school and leave it.
