Who kissed me?!

When my daughter got baptised in a church in Greece there is a custom that after the ceremony you congratulate the parents and you kiss them on both cheeks.  All relatives stand in a line and one by one shake hands and kiss you on both cheeks. Suddenly a woman came up to me and shakes my hand and kisses me on both cheeks. Who was she? After her another man, again the same procedure and yet again I asked myself who was he? These two people were not wedding crashers they were baptism crashers! No one knew them...so weird!?
