The hairdresser who refused

My husbands uncle who is Greek went to his also Greek hairdresser as it was time to cut his hair. He sat down in the chair and said I need a haircut. The hairdresser looked at him and said: - No, you do not need a haircut. The uncle replied: - But I DO need a haircut. The hairdresser said: - No, You do not need a haircut. So, the uncle had to leave as the hairdresser refused to cut his hair.  So, why did the hairdresser refuse?  Well the uncles hair was really thick and would take a very long time to cut so we guess that the hairdresser just was a bit lazy that day...
